What happens if I start the program and decide it’s not for me (i.e. how do I cancel my membership)?

The BUILD and MOVE programs are month-to-month recurring payments. If you decide that you no longer wish to follow the program, email hello@trainballistic.com at least 48 hours prior to your renewal date and we will cancel the membership for you.

Fitness + Nutrition and Nutrition Only have a three-month commitment. Following the initial three months, if you wish to discontinue the program, email hello@trainballistic.com at least 48 hours prior to your renewal date and we will cancel the membership for you.

What happens if I need to pause/freeze my membership?

We offer up to a four-week hold on your membership. Email hello@trainballistic.com and we will set up the hold for you.

Can I change the program that I am following (e.g. BUILD to MOVE, MOVE to BUILD, or Fitness + Nutrition to Nutrition Only)?

Yes! You may alternate between BUILD and MOVE at any time, and you may upgrade/downgrade from Fitness + Nutrition to Nutrition Only, or Nutrition Only down to BUILD/MOVE at the next renewal date*

*If you’re within the initial three-month commitment of Fitness + Nutrition or Nutrition Only, you will continue to pay the agreed-upon rate until that time period has elapsed, then the rate will be adjusted according to the changes to your membership

Do you offer couples or family discounts?

Yes, we do! We offer a spouse/family membership plan for $29/month for the second active member to be set up with their own TrainHeroic profile and access to additional, member-only features.

Do you offer a military/first responder discount?

Of course! We offer a 15% discount to Military (active duty and veterans), Firefighters, and Law Enforcement Officers and their spouses.

 How do I update my payment information?

Email hello@trainballistic.com and we will call you to update your payment information.

What do I do if I haven’t been added to the private Facebook group or Newsletter mailing list?

Email hello@trainballistic.com and we will send you an invite to the Members-Only Facebook group and/or add you to the mailing list.


Do you design meal plans?

Rather than telling you exactly what to eat each week, Ballistic Performance prioritizes helping you develop sustainable habits, adopt healthier behaviors, and learn how to fuel yourself for the life that you want to live.

The problem with meal plans is that once the plan ends, you revert back to old habits.

Life-long meal plans don’t exist, and if they did, no one could sustain the behaviors necessary to follow those plans.

  • We believe that everyone should know their way around their plate, which is exactly why we place importance on:
  • Developing a balanced relationship with food
  • Consistency
  • Education
  • Grocery store mastery
  • Meal prep 

Do you offer Zoom/Phone calls with clients?

In Nutrition + Fitness and Nutrition Only, we offer weekly check-in calls via Zoom, phone, email, or even text. Additionally, if you’re a member of Nutrition + Fitness or Fitness Only, you have 24/7 access to your coach via the TrainHeroic app.

Do you work with people following Keto, Paleo, Plant-based, or any other specific diet?

Absolutely! We work with a broad spectrum of clients. Regardless of your dietary preferences, we can help you move toward your goals.

Do you work with all populations (e.g. overweight, inactive, young, old, etc.)?

We sure do! Our programs are one-on-one nutrition coaching; everything is tailored specifically you, your lifestyle, and your goals.

Why is Nutrition Only and Nutrition + Fitness so expensive?

This is an investment in your health. We are providing the accountability, guidance, and education you need to build healthy, sustainable habits and move closer toward your goals.

Our goal is to teach you how to prep, how to cook, and how to modify your lifestyle to accommodate healthier behaviors so that you no longer need to spend money on the fads, gimmicks, and trends that you see on Instagram.

We are here to help you cultivate the knowledge and independence necessary to carry these new habits across a lifetime.

Why do I have to commit for three months?

We believe in slowly built, long-lasting habits that empower you to build a healthy, sustainable relationship with food – there are no ‘quick fixes’.

The three-month commitment ensures that you get the most out of the program and create a solid foundation upon which to learn and progress.

What if I have a medical condition (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, etc.)?

We would love to work with you! However, it is important to note that our coaches cannot provide any medical advice, assistance, or treatment options for diabetes, hormonal problems, thyroid issues, PCOS, etc.

Before starting any of our fitness and/or nutrition programs, you should talk to your physician and follow his/her recommendations.

If I’ve worked with a nutrition coach in the past, would this program still help me?

Absolutely! We are not your typical nutrition coaches. We will support you, challenge you, and hold you accountable. We will be honest, transparent, and patient with you through the process. We will help you move toward your goals in a healthy, sustainable way.


What equipment do I need for MOVE?

The MAJORITY of the workouts can be completed with only:

  • Two sets of dumbbells (light/moderate and heavy)
  • Resistance band
  • Jungle Gym XT or TRX Strap

Optional, but useful equipment includes:

  • Kettlebell
  • Medicine Ball
  • Pull-up bar
  • Jump Rope
  • Rower or Echo/Assault Bike
  • Plyo Box

What equipment do I need for BUILD?

The MAJORITY of the workouts can be completed with only:

  • 2-3 sets of dumbbells (light, medium, and heavy)
  • Resistance band(s)
  • Jungle Gym XT or TRX Strap
  • Pull-up Bar

Optional, but useful equipment includes:

  • Barbell and bumper plates
  • Kettlebell
  • Plyo Box

How long does the programming take every day?

The BUILD and MOVE programs are designed to be completed in 50-70 minutes, depending on the day and whether or not you complete the prescribed warm-up and post-workout recommendations.

Are there prescribed warm-ups and cool-downs?

Yes! We design comprehensive training sessions for all fitness programs.

Warm-ups are tailored to the exercises in the session and cool-downs alternate between mobility/flexibility and accessory core circuits.

What if I want to do both programs?

We offer access to both programs for $69/month.

It is important to note that the BUILD and MOVE programs are not designed to be completed in conjunction with one another; rather, we recommend select one program as your primary training method, then supplement specific components of the additional program into your training regimen. 

How are the programs delivered?

We deliver all of our fitness programs via the TrainHeroic app

PERFORM is our one-on-one virtual coaching program:
