Our Story

We’ve lived the extremes. Now we coach the balance.

We started out like most coaches, all in. Training twice a day, chasing PRs, tracking every gram, and building our lives around fitness. Eventually, that intensity caught up to us. Our bodies hurt, our motivation faded, and we realized we weren’t living the life we were supposedly building strength for.

That breaking point is where Ballistic Performance began. We wanted to create a better way to train and eat, one that focused on long-term health, balance, and sustainability instead of extremes.

Then everything changed again. We became parents.

And suddenly, we understood what busy really meant. Late nights, early mornings, and days that revolved around someone else’s needs forced us to rethink everything we believed about fitness and nutrition. What used to work no longer made sense, and what mattered most wasn’t the perfect plan, it was the one we could actually follow.

That shift gave Ballistic its true purpose. Our approach evolved from theory to lived experience, from structured perfection to practical consistency. It became about helping parents like us build strength, confidence, and health that lasts, not by doing more, but by doing what matters better.

Our Mission

We help busy parents eat better and train smarter so they can look good, feel great, and thrive at home, at work, and in life.

We know what it’s like to juggle work, kids, and the constant pull of not enough time. We’ve been there, trying to keep up with fitness routines that don’t fit real life. That’s why Ballistic exists: to make fitness and nutrition simple, effective, and sustainable for parents who want results without the chaos.

Through personalized coaching, structured training, and practical nutrition guidance, we help you create habits that work in every season of life. No guilt, no extremes, no all or nothing. With over 12 years in strength and conditioning, Derrick blends science-backed programming with real-world practicality. His goal is simple: help you train smarter, not harder, and build strength that serves your life outside the gym.
